About Me

I guess the usual way to kick off an 'about me' section would be to tell people where I'm from. But for me, it's not as simple as naming just one place. I was born in  Zagreb (Croatia), raised in Doha (Qatar), and lived the majority of my young to current-adult life in Dubrovnik (Croatia). When someone asks me where I'm from I always answer - Croatia, but in reality there are many places I feel at home. In the background of it all, this is one of the core reasons I fell in love with this practice - when you don't have one but many places to call home, your body becomes your real home and your mat becomes a place to reconnect with home daily.

I started my practice in 2016, and have since been a dedicated Yoga practitioner. For 3 years I studied under the guidance of Donovan Hicks, learning the It's Rocket Yoga method; unwaveringly following the system for 7 years.

In 2023, I dove deep into the Ashtanga Yoga practice under the guidance of teachers Laruga Glaser and David Fredriksson, and I continue to pursue this journey today.

I spent the previous December and January in Mysore (India), practicing at the Sharat Yoga Centre - exploring and absorbing the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. I then continued my studies in Goa for the third year in a row, studying with Laruga and her team for one full month, further refining my connection and understanding of the practice.

There are two more teachers I would like to mention who have and continue to shape me as a student & a teacher - they are Gabriele Severini and Elle Sirilak. Living, breathing Yogis who lead by being true examples of how a person can bring about human betterment in the world by practicing and living Ashtanga Yoga.

My teachers, the Ashtanga lineage and my self-practice are without a doubt the pillars of guidance in all of my teachings.
